Packing
Often it is extremely time consuming to take all of your belongings and put them in boxes. This is where a moving crew can shine, and they will do the job right as well. The moving company can come into your home and start boxing up all of your items. Everything that you want to be left alone should already be boxed. The moving crew will then put everything else in boxes. They will be sure that everything that is fragile is packed with packing peanuts or bubble wrap.
Loading
The most physically strenuous part of moving is often moving all of those boxes into the moving truck. For the most part, boxes are not a big deal, but it is the heavy items in the house that can be so hard. If you have ever tried moving a piano, entertainment center, or a couch you know just how heavy they can be. If you do it yourself you could end up with an injured back and some scraped walls. It may just surprise you how quickly the moving company can get all of your belongings including the heavy items in the truck.
The Drive
Driving a 21 or 26-foot moving truck can be an intimidating feat. If you do not have the experience driving large trucks then you may want to consider having the moving company provide a driver for you. The driver will pick up the truck and drive it to your new location. Without any experience, you may be putting yourself into harm's way. It is very often that the driver can help you unload the truck as well. So, if you do not want to make the drive then a driver can be arranged to get you to your new location safe.
